We had seen the LL before in the Distribution of land among the Acadians at San Luis de Natchez.; Brasseaux et al., Quest for the Promised Land pg 134-135. Pierre Guidry (Later at Cercila LA) is listed twice as Lledre. The first is actually MY Anne Dupuis widow of Pierre's brother Jean-Baptiste. 2nd Entry is Pierre & first wife Marguerite Dupuis, daughter, and an orphan probably a nephew Bouton. In Spanish a double L is (sometimes) pronounced as a Y so this is what the Spanish priest & officials heard.
