I am attempting to sort out the dates for Neville Foreman, m. Zelie Ann Faulk. There seems to be a lot of misinformation out there -- or, if the information is correct, it's pretty peculiar. I have Neville as b. ca. 1823, in Lafayette, son of Asa Foreman and Rachael Foreman (Asa and Rachael were cousins). Different sources give different death dates for Neville -- some say 4 Jul 1844, others 4 Jul 1847, in Lafayette. Neville's wife, Zelie Anne Faulk, was the daughter of Benjamin and Marguerite (Foreman) Faulk, and they married on 13 November 1838 in Lafayette. However, that same date -- 13 Nov 1838 -- is given in more than one place as the marriage date for Neville's parents, Asa Foreman and Rachael Foreman. I really doubt that the parents were married on the same date as their son...! Can anyone verify (or disprove!) any of this for me? It's a pretty confusing family, with a lot of intermarriage... thanks Gordon
