Hi Gordon & all, This may help - the 1880 census has a Charles O. Guidry listed as a widowed brother-in-law in the household of "Preville" [Treville??] & Schola[s]tique Guidry. I think Charles & Azelima's sons Albert & Marcel are on the same page, BTW. So does Azelima have a brother Treville or Preville or does one of them have a sister Scholastique? 1880 United States Federal Census

Charles Oculi Guidry is the one who was born in 1825, as this matches with her age at death (47 in 1872). The Azelina (I think her name was more often spelled with an 'n') who married Jean Comeaux seems to have been a younger sister -- by her age at death (69 in 1900) she was born ca. 1831, but there doesn't seem to be a birth record for her.
