My guess is that this is the actual church record book from which Volume 1 drew it's information. Did Volume 1 list this reference or another for entry 227? The book of published church records does not mention the No. 1 pg. 25 but I imagine that means the original books from which the published works were copied. 227 is the entry number. The church is now the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. It was barely a mission church back then. Glad to help.
