    3. Rita, Thank you. This is very helpful. Did Volume 1 include a specific church reference? I have heard of another reference, "Diocese of Mobile: 1718 Baptisms No. 1, Page 25." My guess is that this is the actual church record book from which Volume 1 drew it's information. Did Volume 1 list this reference or another for entry 227?     3. The book of published church records does not mention the No. 1 pg. 25 but I imagine that means the original books from which the published works were copied. 227 is the entry number. The church is now the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. It was barely a mission church back then. Glad to help.
