Hse.: Mar. v. 4, # 8) [no parents listed for groom] The only Ulger GUIDRY I have was born 26 Mar 1811, baptized 30 Oct 1813 at Assumption Catholic Church, Plattenville, LA, son of Olivier GUEDRY & Henriette BERGERON (ASM-6, 308). From Baton Rouge Diocese, Catholic Church Records, vol. 3, p. 388. He married 1st on 14 Apr 1834 at Lafourche Courthouse, Thibodaux, LA to Cesaire SAVOIE. He seems to fit. Karen Theriot Reader

Two I found Guidry Urasie Caroline b 24 sep 1845 Guidry Theotise Elise b 16 jun 1849 =================== In 1837 a Joseph Ulgere is born. He is the son of Edmond Guidry & Edmire Aina Bellanger. Edmond is from St-James. We may want to look in the family of his parents Jean-Baptiste & Marguerite Commeaux for a son Ulger(e). ============== Switching to Daryl's family book Pg 163 the Joseph Ulgere was also known Joseph Ludger Guidry. Nothing else ============== No one else of interest in DOBR v 3 or 4. ============== I will check family sites tomorrow. Thanks Paul & Karen -- I agree that the Ulger who married Cesaire Savoie is out. I have Edmond's parents as Jean Baptiste Guidry and Marguerite Comeaux -- I don't have a son named Ludger or Ulger, but I may have a missing child & others may have more complete records.
