Gordon I could not find them! Where I looked & then a few questions that may help. In Hebert South LA vol 1& 2 The Hubert Use I found was married 1st 1829 Marguerite Pauline Boudreaux & Married 2nd 1839 Jeanne Adeline Trahan. Adeline his widow remarries in 1849. I did not see a Felix. Because of the history of "cousins" coming down the bayou to Thibidaux to marry, I then checked Assumption Courthouse marriages & then DOBR. I checked Elton's Vacherie & the first two Volumes of The Lafourche Country. Could someone check the third? I could not find then on the Southwest LA CD. ============================ I also checked Uze & Huse. The D'Huet family is also Dué. MOLAISON is the other Acadian family that sometimes gets confused for Melanson. Were Lafouche & along the river all occupied in 1863? Could they have gone from the river to an unoccupied area to marry? Could Felix be from a "second family"? Where did Felix settle I can not find him in census? I am out of Ideas. Any suggestions?
