Bergeron Sr. Alexandria, LA and the late Elsie Stewart Bergeron. Arthur was presently employed at the United States Army War College in Carlisle as a Historian. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith. Arthur served in the United States Army, was a highly respected author and very active in the Civil War community. Surviving is his wife of 14 years, Carol B. Flashenburg Bergeron, a daughter, Kathleen B. Livingston, Chesapeake, VA, a stepson Terry R. Powers, Shippensburg and a sister, Sarah B. McDuffie, Baton Rouge, LA. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son Geoffrey S. Bergeron. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
