Well, my theory is that Hubert Use is the same man who m (1) Marguerite Boudreaux and (2) Jeanne Trahan. I suspect he may have had an illegitimate child with Leocadie Benoit, perhaps between the death of his first wife and his marriage to Jeanne in 1839. I just don't see another Hubert Use around who could be Felix's father... cheers, g On Feb 15, 2010, at 11:59 AM, pleblan@aim.com wrote: > Gordon > > I could not find them! Thanks Don Pauline died 25 Nov 1835 (Thib Ch v 1 # 253) & Hubert did not remarry until 1839. A son born during this period would follow our "rule of Thumb" that males marry later than 20 during war. Paul Le B l'Ascension Louisiane PS Hubert (H)use was first used abt 1025 for someone who married an (H?) Elena of Normandie -----Original Message----- From: Don Boudreaux Hi: Joseph Hubert B:1 Apr 1802 Donaldsonville (DOBR-3/845) M1:19 Jan 1829 Thibodaux (SLR-1/91,528) Marguerite Pauline Boudreaux B:16 Jan 1810 D:25 Nov 1835 (Francois Joseph/Marie Jacquemine Thibodaux) M2:18 May 1839 Thibodaux (SLR-1/520,528) Jeanne Adeline Trahan B:2 Apr 1816 (DOBR-3/834) (Francois/Josephe Amanda Thibodeaux) Jeanne M2:25 Jun 1849 Hyppolite Naquin (SLR-2/279,385) Don Boudreaux On 2/15/2010 11:14 AM, Gordon Bonnet wrote: > Well, my theory is that Hubert Use is the same man who m (1) > Marguerite Boudreaux and (2) Jeanne Trahan.
