Alice You are following an even earlier tradition. Our first home in North America "The Habitat" was built in France. It was knocked down. Put in the ship hold. In 1604 it was first reassembled on an island in the mouth of the St-Croix river on the present boundary between Maine & New Brunswick. The next year it was moved to near what would become Port Royal, Acadie. Paul ===================== MY Chauvin Brothers built a hut on the edge of Lake Ponchatrain when they were here in the late 1600 or early 1700 hundreds and that is where I live, on the edge of Lake Ponchatrain, in a trailer!!!! History repeating itself:) Alice Chauvin Bradshaw
