    2. Found the following info in "Convdyance Records of Attakapas County, 1801-1818, by Glenn R. Conrad, the following info: RATIFICATION OF LAND SALE, Sept. 21, 1804. (Document is damaged by ink burn and is fragmented) Eloi Landry, husband of Julienne Trahan, widow of Baptiste (Gaspard?), ratified the sale of a tract of land located on Bayou Vermilion, measuring 1x40 arpents on both sides of the bayou. The sale was to Paul Trahan. I would think that the above info will sort of clear up a marriage date of ca 1804 or even earlier.
