    3. i know it says that all Canadians will have access to the Drouin files; but what are the chances an American can get into them? i have a Marie Drouin that married Joseph Landry in 1808 St. Joseph, Quebec. These people are my 4th G-Grandparents. Would reall like to get the Drouin line.   To be one with the wind, the earth, and the water; to have your heart beat with the tempo of the rain; and your blood surge with the rhythm of a running stream. To know the triumphant cry of the hawk; the haunting lament of the coyote; the silent strike of the rattlesnake. When your spirit is that of the earth; you are as immortal as the rocks you tread; and that is why a warrior lives without fear, and dies without regret. --- On Wed, 6/23/10, alice bradshaw <AMaeznCajun7@webtv.net> wrote: From: alice bradshaw <AMaeznCajun7@webtv.net> Subject: [ACADIAN] Drouin Collection free June 24-26 An announcement from Ancestry To: acadian@rootsweb.com, chauvin@rootsweb.com Date: Wednesday, June 23, 2010, 1:58 PM We may be able to get in too?  .... 2. Bil To answer original question. I have not looked at it this time, BUT usually what they do is sign you up for the "normal" two week free trial. You will need a credit card number to sign up & if you "forget" to cancel before the two weeks is up they will charge your card!!!! To join rather than use the normal ancestry.COM use ancestry.CA the part of the company for Canada. This will get you the Canadian records and only a few below the border. JC, myself & several others already have subscriptions and will do lookups if you ask. Do you read "early" French? Other Canadian records Does anyone have extra PRDH lookups? I keep putting off buying some for myself. If you already know the church and the approximate date you can use the FREE unindexed LDS pilot site. http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#r=0&p=allCollections These copies are sometime clearer easier to read so you may want to get these 2nd copies. Tanguay online - We also have access to a scanned copy of Tanguay. Use this as a guideline like Bona Arseneault work. http://bibnum2.banq.qc.ca/bna/dicoGenealogie/ Paul Le B l'Ascension Louisiane -----Original Message----- From: bil martineau i know it says that all Canadians will have access to the Drouin files; but what are the chances an American can get into them? i have a Marie Drouin that married Joseph Landry in 1808 St. Joseph, Quebec.
