I don't know what happened in Cyberspace, but when I originally sent that email those spouses were with their respective mates, and there were spaces between thos last three lines from Michel BOUDROT to me. :o( That was WEIRD! Anyway, okay, let me see (it's been awhile since I've worked on these lines, so if I have something wrong, thanks for letting me know!). I do remember working on a lot of the marriages in my early years of gen. research through the Loiselle Marriage Index microfilm rolls. I remember Gareau being one of those families. Recently I have been attaching the records when I can find them on Ancestry (I've been using PRDH for records older than 1800 -- it's a lot easier to search than Ancestry). Me to Memere (my great-grandma) is a no-brainer. Memere's father was Lucien BOUDREAU, his d.c. and baptismal record state his parents were Charles BOUDREAU & Marguerite StONGE. He was b. 1 Mar 1853 & baptized the same day at St-Cyprien in Napierville, Québec. I also found him in the U.S. Censuses in Kankakee County with his parents. Charles BOUDREAU & Marguerite StONGE's marriage record state that her parents were Joseph GAREAU-StONGE & Marguerite LANDRY. They were m. 13 Jan 1846 at St-Cyprien, Napierville, Québec. Marguerite StONGE was b. 16 Dec 1825 in L'Acadie, Québec & baptized at Ste-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie the same day. Marguerite LANDRY & Joseph GAREAU dit St. ONGE m. 18 Jan 1825 at St-Cyprien in Napierville, Québec. Her parents are listed as Jean-Baptiste LANDRY & Isabelle HÉBERT of St-Cyprien. Marguerite was born & baptized 16 Oct 1807 at Ste-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie in L'Acadie, Québec. Isabelle (Élisabeth) HÉBERT & Jean-Baptiste LANDRY were m. 28 Jan 1799 at St-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie in L'Acadie, Québec. Her parents were listed as Jacques HÉBERT & Marie TRAHAN. Élisabeth was b. 12 Feb 1778 and baptized 15 Feb 1778 at St-Philippe in Laprairie, Québec. Jacques HÉBERT & Marie TRAHAN were married 18 Sep 1769 at St-Philippe in Laprairie, Québec. His parents were listed as Pierre HÉBERT & Marie-Madeleine GAUDET. PRDH Does not have Pierre HÉBERT's parents, but states that he and M-Madeleine GAUDET were married "Before 1732-05-29 in Acadie". PRDH does list Madeleine's parents as Claude GAUDET & Marguerite BELOU. More than likely I got Pierre's parents' names from "Ancestors of Exzelia Elizabeth BOUDREAU", but I don't have it with me at this time, to confirm that (it's in storage in Washington at the moment).
