Hi All, We may have moved on to other names or the following info isn't needed but here is something I found in my files that I did in May 2010 while reseraching Rocky's maternal first cousin's paternal lines. I found Pierre Allain's surname spelled Bijeau b. about 1668 [the source Ancestry and someone's tree]. The Acadian Gray web site listed Pierre's death date as 1708 in Minas. The surnames for he and Isabelle Melancon's children were spelled Bijeau except for Alain married to Madeleine Boudreaux and his was spelled Bugeaud [source Acadian Museum, West Pubnico, Nova Scotia]. Anyway, just some info that may help or confuse the issue. I hope it helps someone.
