Anastasie LeBlanc died at Petitcoudiac between the birth(1756) and christening (1757)of Rene's sister Anastasie.   Petite Joe married (2)Marguerite Savoie before the trip to LA. Their first child Marguerite was the first Acadian child born after the Broussards came to the Atakapas in 1765.   see: BROUSSARD, Edouard (dec. Fr. Gabriel ISABEY (SM Ch.: v.4, #1084)      Gary I have a different set of parents for Rene who marries Anne Gaudin (d/o Bonaventue Godin & Theotiste Thibodeau) I have him as the son of Jean-Gregory (Joseph & Agnes Thibodeau) who married Anne LeBlanc ((32) Rene Le Blanc (a Mirimachi) & (7g) Anne Theriot) Jean-Gregorie dies while a prisoner The children were split among the relatives. Anne Le Blanc remaries to Pierre-Benajmine Bourgeois & dies. Some of the children make it to Louisiane & some stay in what would become Canada. See my Francois Broussard to Maria Breau for one of the branches that stayed. This is what I have. Anyone agree/disagree? Paul
