Paul, My great-grandfather Gilbert's last name is LaBauve. Raphel's son gave me the handwritten jounrals, and John Martin, a cousin, and I typed them out. I have copied and bound both journals and sent them to Gilbert's grandson Raphael, who lives in Los Alamos. Part of the journals are online, I have written copies of both, which I plan to bind and pass on to anyone who would like one. John Martin also sent a floppy containing the journals. Terri , another cousin, suggested sending a copy to the LSU Archives. John Martin had a couple of places, but I'm a little short of time. I will check my copy and get back to you.
