    2. Don Boudreaux
    3. Hi: I have Joseph's ancestry and connect it back to Julien Lesieur/Catherine Lesache (thru Rene Jette). I was able to connect Louis Lamothe and Catherine GIGNAC thru Rene Jette too. So thank you, that opened up a long addition for me, this is my wife's line of Desonier/Desaulnier. I have about a half dozen of her names that I can't connnect. Joseph Mouret married Claire Rouboullion Stanislas Blanc married Juliette Ganivet Jean Gagnoux married Magdalen Migniac I dead end on both sides of those 3 marriages. Thanks again Paul. 3. Sorry, that should be 30 Oct. 1787 below, NOT 11 Oct., I was looking at the wrong record for the date. also, some online trees (take w/a grain of salt) have Reine's father as Alexis Boulet/Boulay/Boule -- looking again at the record, it could be Alexis. Haven't found in Drouin, but may look again later. 2. Bil To answer original question. I have not looked at it this time, BUT usually what they do is sign you up for the "normal" two week free trial. You will need a credit card number to sign up & if you "forget" to cancel before the two weeks is up they will charge your card!!!! To join rather than use the normal ancestry.COM use ancestry.CA the part of the company for Canada. This will get you the Canadian records and only a few below the border. JC, myself & several others already have subscriptions and will do lookups if you ask. Do you read "early" French? Other Canadian records Does anyone have extra PRDH lookups? I keep putting off buying some for myself. If you already know the church and the approximate date you can use the FREE unindexed LDS pilot site. http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#r=0&p=allCollections These copies are sometime clearer easier to read so you may want to get these 2nd copies. Tanguay online - We also have access to a scanned copy of Tanguay. Use this as a guideline like Bona Arseneault work. http://bibnum2.banq.qc.ca/bna/dicoGenealogie/ Paul Le B l'Ascension Louisiane -----Original Message----- From: bil martineau i know it says that all Canadians will have access to the Drouin files; but what are the chances an American can get into them? i have a Marie Drouin that married Joseph Landry in 1808 St. Joseph, Quebec.
