Looking for the parents of Anna Marie Paris, b. (undocumented) 2 Nov 1881 in Charenton, m. 1897 to John Adam Boudreaux, son of Clovis Boudreaux and Arselina LeBlanc. Thanks! cheers, Gordon
Does anyone know the parents of the Ulgere Guidry in the following record...? BOUDREAUX, Pauline (d. Dominique & d. Rosalie OLIVIER) m. 5 Feb. 1844, Ulger GUEDRY (Thib Ct . Hse.: Mar. v. 4, # 8) [no parents listed for groom] thanks, Gordon
Parents are listed as Joseph Lucien Larose & Helina Boudreaux in Ancestral File at Familysearch.org -- no sources but there is submitter info if it's still a valid address. Keep in mind the handwritten capital letters S & L can be mistranscribed -- have occasionally seen this even w/Leger/e. I have downloaded the Baptismal of Catherin Trahan at Locmaria, Belle-Ile-en-Mer 24 Apr 1773. Anyone who would like a copy email me off list. Paul
Looking for the identity of Aline, b. 1899 probably in Morgan City, LA, who married Herbert Joseph Blanchard (b. 21 Jun 1894 in Morgan City, son of Camille Blanchard and Seraline Eve Olivier). Four known children between 1918 and 1927, all born in Morgan City. A quick search found three women named Aline born between 1898 and 1900 in St. Mary Parish. At the moment, I have no reason to eliminate any of them -- does anyone know more about any of these women, which might support or refute the possibility of her being the Aline who married Herbert Blanchard? Aline Doty (6 Mar 1898, daughter of Henderson Baptiste Doty and Eugenie Savoie) Aline Hebert (20 Sep 1899, daughter of Desire Hebert and Irma Domingue) Aline Simoneaux (b. 18 Aug 1900, daughter of Clesme Simoneaux and Julie Trahan) I lean toward the middle one, because she was the only one actually born in 1899, but I know that census records can be off by a bit. Any ideas? cheers, Gordon

Looks as if my address book has been hi-jacked too. Been getting 'no subject' headings from my sister .. but we don't really communicate. Opened two of them already and it's some "advertisement for viagra, etc. Now i don't open and just delete. bil To be one with the wind, the earth, and the water; to have your heart beat with the tempo of the rain; and your blood surge with the rhythm of a running stream. To know the triumphant cry of the hawk; the haunting lament of the coyote; the silent strike of the rattlesnake. When your spirit is that of the earth; you are as immortal as the rocks you tread; and that is why a warrior lives without fear, and dies without regret.
Gordon Marie "Aspasie" Borel and Louise Pamela Borel were sisters. The one married to Emile Savoie was Marie. Pamela married to Hilaire Borel died by 1847. Their daughter Louise Pamela was with the Frederic "Onezime" LeBlanc family for the 1850 census. This would indicate that maybe Hilaire had also died, but the first reference he had died was at the marriage of their daughter in 1858. There are a few instances showing Aspasie as Pamela, but most references show her as Marie. Another new SPAM is you receive a "Returned" email that did not go through that you supposedly had sent. DO NOT OPEN IT, EITHER. I got one but noticed that words were misspelled and that I had not sent any emails. I deleted it immediately. I received a message from someone (not even on above list of addresses) that they had received a "No Subject" email from me and wondered if they should open it. Since I had not sent that person a message recently, I advised that she delete it. I'm trying to track this down since my Symantec anti-virus didn't catch it. Meanwhile, if you receive a message from me, please DON'T open it (but do let me know). Jackie
