Raymond Rushing, Jr. with his wife Joann, and the late Susan Rushing Bevon. Daughter of the late Claudia LeBlanc and Edwin J.Besson, Sr., Sister of Edwin J. Besson, Jr., Marie B. Laurent, Francis R. Besson, Claude A. Besson, Jacqueline B. Tusa and Martha B. Carriere. Proud grandmother of Suzanne R. Singh.with her husband Satya, and David M. Rushing. After the death of her husband in 1973, she served many years at the Center of Jesus the Lord as a devoted member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Spirit of Jesus, where she provided spiritual direction and pastoral counseling. "Cattle Brands of the Acadians and Early Settlers of Louisiana/ Attakapas" by Glenda Schoeffler at the local library but it seems it's out of print or the person cannot be reached for more information.
