"Fortunately we won't have to wait 372 years for the next one ... that will be on 2094 DEC 21." If you're planning to dash out for only a quick minute, NASA recommends that you choose this one: 3:17 a.m. ET. That's when the moon will be in deepest shadow, displaying the most fantastic shade of copper red. Enjoy, Linnie

    3. Let's wrap up the LeBlancs. if you have a line please share it tomorrow I will finish up the how related tomorrow evening. Monday we will start the next family. Wait until I post the first generation then share Broussard lines. For more details on Maurice's line see his online database. http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=maurice_a_l&id=I1 Paul -----Original Message----- From: Maurice A. LeBlanc <leblancma@cooptel.qc.ca> Here it is. Maurice (XI) » Hermenegilde (X) » Henri (IX) » Joseph (VIII) » Jean-Baptiste (VII) » Jean-Baptiste (VI) » Pierre (V) » Joseph (IV) » Joseph dit Cajetan (III) » Pierre (II) » Daniel (I). Interesting notes: Joseph dit Cajetan (III) was deported with his wife to MA. After 1763 they joined their orphaned grandchildren in St-Ours. Joseph (IV) was deported to SC and England without his family. We later find him in Quebec City where his wife dies in 1758, and he in 1759, leaving 3 orphans under 10 years of age. We find Pierre (V) and his 2 surviving sisters in St-Ours well before the end of the war in 1763. We also find a maternal uncle, Claude Benoit, and a paternal aunt, Marguerite LeBlanc Blanchard, and their families in Quebec City and St-Ours during the same period as the family of Joseph (IV). It is reasonable to think that one or perhaps both of these families took in the orphans after the death of Joseph (IV). April 19, 2015 will be the bi-centennial of the death of Pierre (V) in St-Hyacinthe, QC. Regards, Maurice

    3. Paula I (and probable Yvon) & others will run the lines as they are entered and check them for you. Hehe I saw Texas and thought her family had come from Louisiana. (A)Cajuns & other Louisianians have been crossing the Sabin since Terjas was a Spanish provience. Have you run into any? If we see anything major we will share. If we vary by a couple of years on estimated dates it doesn't matter. 3. That would be so nice. I had great difficulty finding my grandfather Vincent's line and a man that is a Vincent (Clement) sent me the Cyr connection. Never would I have found it. Robert L'Hereux had some of the female lines and a Levasseur friend of his went to the library in Montreal and found another female line for me. Wonderful people all! Years ago (in the 60's) when we worked for an oil exploration company in Nacogdoches there were quite a few Cajuns. They were such fun loving people. Raoul Hebert came over and helped me cook catfish... I had never heard of them... nor did I know how to pronounce Hebert! Now I figure that somewhere along the line we were related! He was from the Lafayette area but my husband says he can't remember just where now. We live NE of Dallas and have for over 40 years. My grandparents had twelve children and around thirty-six grandchildren, of which I am the eldest. Most of them are in New England but several of us are scattered about the country and a few of us are interested in genealogy. I have also got two new relatives of the (70) Etienne & (69) Joseph Le Blanc families. Any more out there? Please share more lines so we can tie more people together. Paul
