    3. Paul, I believe the Registers of St. Jean Baptiste (Annapolis) provide death/burial information for Pierre Melancon (son of Pierre Sr.): "Pierre MELANCON was buried 6 August 1725, died the same day. Priest - Fr. Rene Charles de BRESLAY. Witnesses: Charles MELANCON, his brother; Alexandre ROBICHAUX, his brother-in-law." 1. Re: [ACADIAN] Henriette Pelletret b. Paris?
    2. Paul L LeBlanc
    3. Thanks Liz One of those my early days someone claimed it as such and I picked it up. .I checked SAW, his adds & Corrections, and Faragher. I will check the other histories later. It was probably because her father was involved as an official that someone assumed he was from Paris. I will change to may be from near Paris. This is like the claim everyone was born in Port Royal if no location given. Thanks Again. Paul -----Original Message----- From: Liz Hall Morgan Hi, What is the source for Henriette Pelletret (#13 below) being born in Paris? I don't see it in White. Could it possibly come from info on her father, maybe the St-Jehan list? Thanks, Liz 13. (1a) HENRIETTE PELLETRET[6,9,10] was born about 1641 in Paris, France. She died about 1693 in Acadia. 8.
