Hi, John, Thank you for translating this list. I found Charles SAVOIE and Judith ARSENEAU listed therein. Is there any way to tell if Bazile Des Roches would have been with them at this time? I know that when Bazile's parents (Julien & Marie Arseneau), died, their children were split up among family members. Just wondering... As you probably already know, Bazile later shows up (listed as an orphan) at Cabahannocé, living with the Savoie/Arseneau couple. Keith Sorry I was not clear. When Spain returned Louisiana to France to sell in 1803 besides our militia there were regular army units in LA. Some individuals separated and stayed with their families. Some were sent elsewhere. Mexico & Cuba come to mind with no source.
