Les, I agree with this comment, it took me a long time to find my Scottish Grandmother's Sisters, my Grandmother and her 5 sisters were all known by different names in, e.g. the census , by relations & friends, than those by which they were Birth Registered. When she died, I was the informant for another Aunt, here in New Zealand, I fortunately knew her correct names as Matilda Ellen , known as Nell. However, as the Informant, the name I gave for her deceased husband, was the name we knew him by, and not the name I found on her marriage Cert., which I found when sorting through her belongings.
