Howard, Thanks for that. I think I came across this a few years ago, while it was just still being set up. I was expecting (and found) in a few minutes all sorts of military appointments. Some known, some new. What I hadn't realised was how many bankrupts, folk with swine fever, and business dissolutions there seem to be in the family closets. I'm not sure that its too well known outside of the legal profession in England & Wales that the London Gazette is the required venue of the Probate Registry (in England & Wales) for Solicitor publication in the name of Administrators (Intestate) of an Estate and for publication of professional notices which is probably why it generates so much of that kind of information.
