My Innes family is from the Gartly Parish.......so I'll see if I can help you here. I did the film twice....with no more success than the first time round!! On the Genuki Gazetteer Drumblug shows as 0.1 miles within the Barony of Gartly. I checked the 1841 census for Huntly and found 1 Grant b Gartly.....Isabella, unmarried, age 62, Knitter. This makes her born 1779 + or-. Could she be a sister to your Francis? I found a Francis b/c Gartly 14 Oct 1787, his father is James Grant and mother is Barb McRob.......This info off the Hugh Wallis site. The records are missing for some years for Gartly parish I noticed. That could be why you can't find these sons of Francis. However born when they are and thinking positive, can you find them on the 1851 census which will give you the birthplace? In my notes I do find a Wm McRobb as a witness to some Piry children from Tilliminot 1737. Wm McRobb is given as at Codrain. Good luck with this one.
