These entries in the Register are recording baptisms made in other churches. This is not a very common sight in the OPRs, but does crop up, from time to time, and not just in Peterhead. The Kirk of Scotland was at that date considered "the Established Church", ie it belonged to the fabric of the nation, and in theory all baptisms and marriages, of whatever denomination, were meant to be reported for inclusion in the Registers.
