That's a little misleading. There certainly is an old Kirkyard at Fetteresso, but there is also a quite separate Cemetery at Fetteresso, about a quarter of a mile away. The pre-1855 MIs for the Kirkyard were, indeed, published by the Scottish Genealogy Society, but ANESFHS has also recorded all MIs, regardless of date, for this kirkyard. What the book does not state is that the earliest lair records date from 1902, which means that they almost certainly refer to the Cemetery, not the Kirkyard, and will not mention William Lumsden.
