For years I have been trying to find descendants of John Rainnie, b 1865 Kinellar, son of John Rainnie and Helen Croll. He married Eva Tillotson in England and went to Durban as Port Captain there in 1903. His son Frederick Rainnie received his certificate in seamanship in Aberdeen in 1928.
