I avoid the problem by printing (on paper) all messages of significance to me and filing the messages in filing cabinets. I now have 8 of them filled. This was a natural outgrowth of the day when messages were exchanged in envelopes with stamps stuck on them. I am using 2 computers: The first is very fleet of foot (Pentium5) operating with Windows XM which is used solely to connect to the Internet, the second is a slow old 386 operating on DOS 6.0 and it contains my genealogy data, Word Perfect 12 and related antique software. Note that there is no way viruses and other unfriendly invaders can get near my precious data. I communicate between the machines via 3ΒΌ floppies. Even if one did break through, it wouldn't know what to do with DOS 6.0 M Keith Abel
