    3. Ken: I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1926. At that time my status was "British Subject Resident in Canada". I do not remember the exact year that the Canadian Citizenship Act was passed but it was some time in the '50's, I think. At that time my status changed to Canadian Citizen, and a passport was required to visit Gt Britain. This would date the Passport requirement well past the dates you are interested in.
