Ann Callum was born within a few years off 1780 in Edinkillen Moray Scotland Other than the one possible William in 1861 it seems that both Ann and William's deaths have fallen into a records hole. What is this index you are talking about ? Are there any cemetery records available to your knowledge? Having asked these questions I am embarrassed to say I may not be able to respond from Feb 12 to 24 as I take a first holiday south in a very long time. Thank you very much for your help on this problem. Jim -----Original Message----- From: aberdeen-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aberdeen-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Alex. You didn't give her age/DoB and I can't find them on the 1841 Census on FreeCEN [which doesn't have Stonehaven!]. I'd guess she died before 1855. Hi Ray, Re your above comment regarding Stonehaven, you will find that entries for the town are split between the Parishes of Fetteresso & Dunnottar. It would appear that the Stonehaven addresses are entered as Fetteresso-Stonehvn in the Fetteresso index and in the Dunnottar one you have to open up the index entry to locate Stonehaven addresses and they are entered as "street name - Stonehaven".
