Hi Jim I am sure that Gavin Bell will be able to give you a precise location, but Cairnbanno House is to the west of New Deer. It can be found on old maps UK as it was when your gg grandfather was alive and on multimap.com today. Just enter New Deer and head South West from there...Cairnbanno House!
